Lucid Dream
July 15th 2019
I kept trying to get out of bed to take the trash out, but I was so tired it was hard to keep my eyes open, and when I did open them, it was hard to see straight. Every time I didn’t wake up enough, I’d be sent back to my bed to start over. If I shut my eyes, I would be in a dream in that dream, and I could walk like I needed to and do whatever, so I decided to give up taking out the trash and just stay in bed and dream the other way.
I’m fully aware I’m dreaming by this point, and I’ve kind of been in this next dream before. There’s a building next to a house, but from the side, the building also looks like a house. They both have the same red roofs. I’ve been able to climb them before, and I felt like jumping around, so I did. I jumped to grab the edge of the roof of the house on the right (the actual house), and then got up onto it and ran and jumped onto the other roof (the building house). I knew I could bounce higher, but I couldn’t remember exactly how. So when I did, I did it wrong and bounced off of the roof and was headed toward the ground. Before I hit it, I imagined myself flying across the ground instead, and I felt myself do it.
Then I went up higher and higher, passing different areas. There were different colors, and then I looked straight up at the sky and saw all the clouds and how blue it was in between. It felt very real. I pushed myself to go even higher, and for a second, I wondered if my soul was actually projecting into the sky. Then I think I got a bit scared, but I realized I was fine and decided to fall back down (back facing the ground). It was extremely fast and I could see the colors of the world in my vision as I got closer to the ground and then in a very controlled way, I slowed down and laid back into my body.
